In temporary access and ground protection, the choice of material has long been a trade-off between cost, weight, and durability. But composite ground protection mats—made from HDPE, engineered plastics, and fiber-reinforced polymer blends—are increasingly challenging both, offering a combination of properties that neither wood nor steel can match.
